A stupid woman drove her car back and hit the front part of my car while I was parking. bumper got some scratches and hood and grill were bent a little. I tried to open the hood to see if there's any other damage inside, but it won't open at all. I tried to lift it up pretty strongly but didn't work.
Any advise to open it up???
by the way the insurance inspector had already check up the car and gave me a quote to fix the whole thing. It was 1800....
Thanks in advance,

sorry to hear about your car. Sometimes you need to pry it open after an accident. Unless pulling the bumper off allows you to see where it's stuck.

I actually asked him to put more money on the quote becasue I thought the hood also need to get replaced. But he said this can be fixed.
As long as this inspector quotes higher fixing cost than normal body shop does, I'm OK with it.

There are two hidden screws underneath of headlights fixing the front bumper.
I might try to break some part of grill to get some space to work on. the grill needs to be replaced anyway.....
Thanks for the good link though.
