Hooking up subs, is it ok to run off the rear speakers?

Or is there a aux output on the deck? If so, is it a real PITA to get in there?

you COULD but I would recommend buying the RCA out adaptor and doing it that way.

The adaptor is like $5 from crutchfield..but I don't know the part # anymore

hook the subs or the amp to rear speakers? No to sub, maybe to amp.

There is not enough power to run the sub off those speakers, you will blow it in a week tops.

If you have BOSE do not hook to speakers....

I ran a sub off the rear deck and it sounded like ***. I taped the line ins to the Bose amp and the sound is 100x better.

Do a speaker line tap and use a line level converter to get RCA's.

Tapping into the rear speaker wires is fine.

Buy a Head Unit with pre-outs saves alot of hassle and gives far superior sound

I have an Alpine Head unit and a MRV400F amp

running a 10" sub in the trunk the head runs the speakers in the doors and reardeck
