Default Horn not working after ignition harness swap

I am in the process of replacing my ignition harness, since my '98.5 A4 melted the old connector and then smoked the wires due to corrosion, related to the amperage load for the headlights (relays being installed to prevent this in the future). So I bought a non-OEM harness to go with my OEM ignition switch, and plugged everything in. It all works except for the horn - the switch seems to have a place for this wire, but there's no wire for the horn to be found anywhere. I don't know where this would have gone, unless a wire retreated back up into the harness somewhere. But I've looked all around and can't find it.

Where is the signal wire coming off of the horn that I need to connect to the ignition switch? Has anyone ever experienced this problem? Is there some kind of trick to get this hooked back up?

Somewhat related question - I haven't checked yet, but in case someone knows, where would I look to pull the signal wire inside the cabin for the headlights, to feed into the headlight relays that I've got rigged up? I haven't gone looking in the footwell too much yet, I assume I'm looking for yellow wires, which are what I cut back at the headlight.
