The problem i'm having is that the output(cutoff) looks out of focus and the light intensitity looks to be about 50% less than then OEM.
I have an aftermarket kit - 4700k(?) with Hella Ballast. 12v going into the ballast in case anyone is wondering.
thx.

Correct me if I am wrong. The projector where the bulb mount is also different. The HID had a multiple finger type spring to hold the bulb

but HID housings have a hole to run the wires for the ignitor. Also you wouldn't be able to fit your H7 bulbs into the D2S bulb holder

that hold the capsule (bulb) in.
The regular H7 type have a latch that looks the same or very simmilar to the high beam.
