Default how dangerous is a tire bulge? I have one, but a tight time frame...

I have a cute little tumor looking bulge on the sidewall of my 9000 mile old dunlop 8000.... but I won't be able to get to the dealer in the next couple days... how much danger am I in? I am thinking about 80-100 miles before I get it in, and I have driven about 50 miles since I noticed it, and it could have only been 100 miles tops since I remember checking it last...

thoughts?

Default That's like asking how long u can jump around w/ a bottle of NitroGlycerin in your underwear

before you it explodes.Seriously put the spare on... At high speed, tight corning, evasive manuevering, or anything else that could stress the tire, the tire could blow...

Default From the subject line, I thought you were trying to roll your own all-roader by

putting on some firestone atx'x. lol.

Get rid of that tire. Sidewall damage is a blowout waiting to kill you.

That may be the best analogy I've ever heard!

That would produce one serious bulge.
