Default How do I get rotors off my A4

I am sitting here looking at my new Brembo rotors, getting the caliper and bracket off (98.5 A4 2.8Q) took 10 minutes but how do I get the rotor off. Looks like it is welded on by rust! There has to be an easy trick to this

Take a hammer and strike the hub section of the rotor [do not strike the outer area of the rotor where the brake pads provide friction]. You may have to strike several times quite hard, but that should loosen the rust which is binding the rotor to the hub.

Default An easy way.....

But this only works if the calipers are still on the car....

Loosen the wheel bolts a few turns where the wheel is slightly loose. Drive forwards or backwards and hit the brakes the rotors usually loosen this way. This also works for wheels stuck to the hub rim.
