how do i know if my valves are bent? car wont start after re aligning the timing

marks. it turns over, but it wont start. is there any way that i can look at them besides taking the head off?

but if you can see that any valves don't touch the camshafts, that means they are bent. I don't beleive you need to take the heads off to see that. I'm not too tech savvy, though, sorry.

the tensioner and got tangled up in the timing belt. i took it out and thoght that i had aligned the timing belt correctly, but when i tried to start it i could hear the valves hitting. so today i realigned the timing perfectly, but it wont start up.

is it even trying to start? like coughing on a cylinder to two? If it is then I'd say the electric is fine & the head is hurting. Either way I hope you have lots of Advil around.
