The left headlight lens on my 1997 A4tq is cracked and needs replacing. I can easily remove the 3 clips on the top edge of the light that hold the lens in, but there are 2 or 3 more clips on the bottom edge that i can't get at because the gap between the bumper and light is too small. Do I have to drop out the whole light assembly, and if so how do i do that?

....two torx screws on the top and one on the side hidden behind the corner marker.

By 'corner marker' do you mean turn indicator?
