Default how do i tell sport suspension from non-sport suspension?

Sorry, this is rather basic. I drive a 98.5 1.8t fwd that was handed down to me from an uncle. Is there a way to tell whether or not I have the sport suspension?

Thanks,
Andrew Reeves

there's a picture of it at the link below in case that helps.<ul><li><a href="http://photos.yahoo.com/royal_sovereign02">http://photos.yahoo.com/royal_sovereign02</a</li></ul>

Default There is a problem with the link.

If you have red shocks, you will have the sport suspension. Black shocks are non-sport

Default Judging by the wheels....

I would venture a guess to say that it is a non-sport.

The other thing you can do is poke your head in the wheel well. If the shocks are red, you have a sport suspension.

The other indicator is the steering wheel. Most of the time, if you have a 3-spoke wheel, you have a sport suspension.

steering wheel is not necessarily an indicator. ride height and shock color would be my picks.

What wheels should they come with? Mine are 16". Once the summer comes back putting on some 18"s

And the angle of the picture cant really se the ride height.

Default I have 99.5 non-sport (but have the 3 spoke sport wheel) and my ride hight is higher than that

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/61867/luvthatrideheight.jpg"></center><p>
I'd go with it being a sport...
(btw... it seems that teh front has less height than the rear, like whenever I look at my car from the side, it has more than what a regular car should have for positive "rake") oh well, oh yeah and still mad at dealership for installing the sport logo upside down on my steering wheel! afraid i will scratch it if I try to diy
