My '96 didnt have a cd changer, so I found the adapter in the trunk and it plugged right up to my old alpine changer from my '96 civic, it has power to the changer (Im able to eject the cds), but I can seem to figure out how to use the chager with the Delta Bose headunit, when I press the "mode" button nothing happens. Am I missing something here? The cd changer plugged right into the adapter and has power, what could be the problem?

You could try borrowing one to see if the wiring is working correctly, but it sounds like your changer is either broken or not compatible.

Damn, it worked on My friends '98. This must be specific to my car then.

Yours is Delta, correct? If the head units aren't the same, then it makes perfect sense that it would not work.

Nothing else works. This qustion has been asked 100 times.


If you want the Audi changer check E bay, they are $$$.

Or do what I did, retrofit a Concert and an iPod.
