Default Two ways to check....

The hard way is to hold a magnet to them. The way I understand it is recalled ones are made of aluminum and the magnet won't stick, the new ones are cast iron and the magnet should stick.

The easy way... just call your dealer with your vin number and they'll look it up.

Default As a general rule a wheel alignment will tell you.

If toe-in measurement is not repeatable, tie-rod end play is usually the suspect.

Of course there is the current tie-rod end recall. If your car is within the range of identified vehicles, they should be replaced regardless of what a wheel alignment indicates.

Default

I'm not on the VIN list, but my non-dealer wrench told me one needs to be replaced
