How do you remove the third brake light, and the rear deck- I can not find it in the Tech Section

it's easy...look in the trunk and look up on the rear deck. you should see..

a little plastic clip that u can remove.

If you have a newer A4, it should have three plastic clips across the rear deck. Those are car-seat anchors. Disconnect break light cable. Pop those off carefully. You will expose three bolts. Unbolt those and then you should be able to remove the rear deck by pulling away from window, and up slightly. Be careful not to break the deck (its that hrad cardboard stuff).

Then, you can unscrew the rear breaklight housing from the deck.
