So what?
I have friends with a CRX now and college buddies that had 'em in school. They're great cars for the money but one of them got into an accident and totalled it. A guy hit him from behind and that thing crumpled up faster than reynolds wrap. And it wasn't even a fast collision. He was lucky to walk away with just a sprained neck. A friend of ours that had an A4 (the first one I ever saw in person years ago) had a similar accident. Only the bumper was replaced. Now, tell him that the A4 costs too much now.

CRX's kill in SCCA IT racing.
A CSP CRX got the third fastest time of day at the last Porsche club autocross I went to in September. (Whipped my butt by over 3 seconds on a 65 second course.)
So yes, CRX's are fast.

Sure the old girl rattles
but that's only because she was so tight to begin with. I still get a smile on my face when I drive her. At 1980 lbs. she still is a blast and that little 12V 1.6 pulls like no tommorow. Only 85k original miles.
No appearance mods, so keep the rice comments to yourself.
