How hard is it to replace all the vacuum hoses? TIA

How hard is it to replace all the vacuum hoses? TIA

Default only the hose that goes to the air recirculation valve under the dash . . .

You have about two days worth (or one really long day) of work to get to the evaporator core and put everything back together again. What I did was get a connector tube and replaced the hose up until the point where it goes through the second firewall near the heater core. As you have a 1.8t, your vacuum system layout may differ slightly, but my '96 A4 and my wife's '00 A6 (IIRC) have a similar set-up using vacuum tube to engage the air recirculation valve.
