Andrei...APR used his car for the 01.5. I rode in his car last year and it pulled pretty hard. My first quattro stg 3 ride.
His car looks totally stock. I'll try to get him on the dyno next time.

I did the entire 60k, TB service. I also put on new tensioners for the extra belts.
Tstat.
H20 pump.
EFK.
Snubbie.
As many vac hoses that I could reach when the front was apart.
Replaced/tightened down some clamps that were question-able.
Some secondary breather hose was cracked. replaced.
Brake booster line replaced. the plastic part.
After all of this, I'm now holding boost to around 5k, which I really wasn't before. It was just slowly evenly falling until redline, then shift, repeat. However, it still makes a big drop at 5k and slowly falls to 10psi like it did before. So, I've been shifting at 5k all the time now.... sucks on the track.
Also, when I blip the throttle at idle, I see the vac readings kicks right at the end when the RPMs fall. never happened before. could be normal.
So, I fixed a leak - or did I? If it's willing to hold 18-21 psi for a bit, there can't be a leak. Vac readings are normal for the X.
It just won't hold boost after 5k. wtf?
I was told a coolant temp sensor could be the issue. $5. I'm going to try it.
what else could it be?
I want this resolved before I finally drop the dime on a turbo kit this summer.
