How loud is a Milltek exhaust supposed to be?

How loud is a Milltek exhaust supposed to be?
All of the posts I have read talk about how quiet it is. Well mine doesn't seem to be quiet at all. I just had it installed and it gives me a headache during long drives. Here is a brakedown of the noise levels I am experiencing:
IDLE: Same as stock
LOW RPM: Much louder and resonates a lot, especially when the engine is decelerating
HIGH RPM: Much louder, but smoothes out a bit
This is with the windows/sunroof closed. Is it supposed to be this loud? Could there be something wrong with the install? Please tell me about any experiences with Milltek exhausts.

double check the connection points. Make sure no leaks are occuring.
my milltek is very quiet at idle, low rpm it's noticable but not loud, on the throttle it's louder, but I hear the engine more than the exhaust honestly.

Give it two weeks.
mine got better. I love the sound under hard acceleration, but I find it annoying still between 2500 and 3500 on the motorway, but only with 1/2 throttle or more on.
I'm considering an additional small muffler to reduce it.

Make sure you/your installer put it on correctly...more
I put my exhaust on at a friends house because he has a lift. It made the job much easier, but make sure it is not touching anything under the car... pay close attention to the rear of the car near the suspension. It has to be in the right place in that area because it is a tight fit... It took a little while for me to get it in there perfectly.
I love the sound of mine. It is very subtle during normal driving conditions, however, when you get on the loud pedal haha, it really opens up nicely....

Mine resonates between 2500 and 3500 RPM too.
My dash console vibrates and rattles when it is the worst. It is a real low deep gutteral noise that gets more annoying the longer I drive the car. I now have to crank my music up louder to drown it out, which gives me a serious headache. Do you experience any of this with your Milltek exhaust?
