How many miles should you ideally wait before you chip? THX!

5,000 miles after 1st oil change
Should wait after your car has been broken in. Id say about 5,000 miles then chip right after you get new oil in your car. That way you start off fresh

Why should you have to wait at all?
If you're going to trust this upgrade for the life of your car, why not just put it on as soon as possible. I would think that this way the engine is getting "broken in" with the same management system that will be controlling it down the road.
