That's what happens when you start driving before taking high school physics.

Default I'm a high school dropout...

What people need is some level of intelligence. It seems that the kids these days have less and less. (or none)

Default I'd say common sense....

There are people I know with Mechanical Engineering Ph.D.'s who don't know what a turbo does... they don't install boost gauges though...

Default My point exactly... we are all on the same page, its purely semantic

the n75 is the mechanical piece that controls the boost pressure thats all I was getting at, never tried to say the ECU didnt have anything to do with it (hence, https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2494308.phtml).

we've gotten it down to the point of... do tendons control your fingers actions or does your brain? well... the brain couldnt controll the fingers w/o the tendons... and the tendons couldnt move the fingers w/o the brain... bleh...

We all have the same understanding, glad a good debate came out of it

Default Anyone with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering that cant conceptualize the basics of forced induction

should have there degree revoked, and the institution who accredited that university should have there head examined. Anyone with a Ph.D. in any science disipline should at least be able to grasp onto a thread of an idea about a turbo. </rant>
