Default How much for 80k service?
How much should I be looking to pay an independent for this? Not handy at all, nor do I have the time for DIY. Just want to be sure I'm in the ballpark of getting a reasonable deal. Thanks

I don't think anyone knows what an 80k service is. For me, it's an oild change. $10-15 DIY.

Default How old is your car? Has the timing belt been changed?
Ask the shop what they recommend (maybe over the phone) .

$300 - $2500 is what I am thinking.

My car is 10 years old. Belt was changed 35k ago.

Dude check out the maintenance schedule -link below- for your car. .not sure what year/model/option you have. 80k for 1.8 or 82.5k for 2.8.
