To mount, balance, stems...etc.
I've been shopping around a little bit and it seems like I am going to be spending $900-1000 for some decent 225/45/17's with alignmnet.
Any suggestions?
should I order tires and bring them to be mounted?

I also picked up the chrome stems from a tire shop for $2 or 3 each.
Total spent:
$622 ($155 for 2, $156 for 2 - long story) No shipping as they were picked up.
~$40 for mount & bal
$4 to trash old ones
~$10 for valve stems
$0 for alignment since the car is under warranty.
------
~$676

I think my tire shop charged me $15 for 16" wheels and $18 for 17" wheels.
Including new (metal) valve stems & stick-on weights.
