Thanks, I may have to try it my self. I aint giving the dealer....

over a grand for labor.I know parts are only like
$3-400.

Try to find an independant garage, get a quote from them...

The grand comes from also changing the timing belt, rollers etc. I spent about $240 on parts to do my car.

Don't be driving the car if the pump is leaking

If it siezes then you will be buying a new engine as the 2.8 belt will cause the valves to hit the piston.

Not really - once the seal is broken the bearing can sieze at any time
