What kits or upgrades can be added to make a K04 produce around 260hp and even more lbs-ft of torque? Does anyone here have a K04 that has around that much hp/tq? If so, what have you added? Have you tracked it? What are your best 1/4 times? Thanks,

the race program in my car with my K03 is estimated at 240, so with a race program 260 out of a K04 seems quite possible.

Chipped TT225 is around 260hp, so thats about right for a K04 running at the "reliable" limit.

yeah the TT is a lat engine and i think the 225 chipped goes to 254hp a long engine gets 238hp

....very easy to change out since it basically the same footprint. The nice thing about the Ko4 is the high RPM pull. Not scared about relaibility, this IS a Turbo we are talking about, not a 1987 Camry (which is known to outlast most common cockroaches).

t28 should yield more whoosh, but that needs a manifold, injectors, cat, mount, external wastegate??(not sure) where the Ko4 fits right in, all the other things can be done. lately I feel Im going backwards since APR K03 cars keep up OK on the straights of road courses. I think I heat soak the IC alot faster.

and with it running on my K03 setup was making about 250 hp and nearly 300 lbs of tq. So she is pretty close to that. My older chips that ran 14.5-14.6 were rated at 240 hp.
