how much for a new drive shaft?
Can I have it rebuilt? I took my car to pro-imports and they told me that based on my description of the problem (vague steering response at times, intermittent rumble) one of my drive shafts may be going bad. I'm not hearing any noise as of yet. They told me it would cost $600 for a new one.
So is there a way to get one rebuilt? Or any other advice?

CV joints on the axels can be replaced. There is a DIY tech article covering it. Also look for a Rob
