How much oil am I supposed to use with this new anti-sludge gigantic oil filter?

is this part of the oil sludge fix that i got a letter from aoa about?...

or just using the V6 filter.

supposedly new filter hold ~.5qts more oil about the same as the V6

No, the letter does not tell you to use a larger filter, but...

Audi started using these larger filters on 2004.5 A4 1.8T engines along with synthetic oil only.

Is there any difference between the 068115561B and 068115561E.

I've read somewhere that 068115561E was an updated one for the TDIs. But I'd like to know what the diff is

For anyone who cares... bigger filter fits just fine.

Installed it this evening, fits no problem. Seems to hold a similiar amount of oil, I put in 4 1/4 quarts and it's just under full. Will check level again tomorrow to make sure, might end up using 4 1/2 quarts.
