Default How much oil (fluid) should one find when removing the Throttle Body

...from the intake manifold?? I had a small amount (enough to fill up the little valley at the bottom). Still searching for clues to 3 DTCs- 17951, 16506, 16491. Removed and cleaned the Throttle Body today. Going out tonight to drive around 'the hood' and see if it acts up again. (I had high oil, and the coolant is at MIN...hope they aint been foolin' around together!!)

Default Thx - yeah, I already Emailed John last week...

..noticed you are also dealing with removal of a Throttle body on an AEB motor - whats your issues??
Im fighting a intermittant faulty pot on the sensor and a intermiittant Throttle valve malfunction that causes havoc in morning traffic!!
I removed and cleaned the TB today and it was pretty EZ. Bentley does NOT have good info on this part either, BTW.

Default I was getting a code 17967 - Throttle Valve Control part (J338): Fault in basic settings P1559 - 35-

The car would start then die after 3 seconds.I also have been getting a wierd stummble around 3k rpm that me & my mech thought was caused by the throttle body.

I bought a used throttle body on car-parts.com for $175 with 3 month warranty. I didn't really have the time to try and restore the TB when I figured it was f-ed up to begin with. Lets hope the new one it the answer to my problems.
