Someone rear-ended me last week, guy gave me bogus insurance info(i was fuming when i found this out a few days later), and i wasn't thinking during the time and didnt call the cops at the scene (since the accident wasn't big at all). He hit me going under 10 mph and left some pretty mean scratches on the bumper, as well as a few paint chips. My bumper also has a nice crease where his 86 accord made contact, but it's not very noticeable as it is towards the bottom. Anyway, as I try to get some money out of the guy through my insurance, i'm curious how much it'll cost me if i can't and have to do the work myself. The bumper looks pretty salvageable to me (no dents, other than the crease), so i think a nice paint job will do. Anybody have a guess of how much an estimate will be?

you will have 2.4 hours of paint, 1.5 labor for R&I and paint materials plus 1 hours for clear coat. Depending on your prevailing labor rate in your area you are looking at about $300
