does "i did it" mean you literally...
took it apart and did it and the $950 was the cost for parts? mine is slipping on the highway at WOT and it looks like i'm getting an upgraded one. also which one did you go with?

I have 66k on my car... seems like it is going kind of early.... but (more)
It is not horrendous as of this point. I can't drive the car aggresive at all as I am afraid to push it...
I am going to look into a bunch of places. I will post when I have done my research. Hoping to come in at around $1,000 or maybe a little less...

Oddball suggestion...
Here is what I did...
When the dealer is doing something on your car, walk back there and pick a mechanic looking trustworty. Ask if he ever works on the side. I found a mechanic this way and ever since he is fixing my car. Saved $$$$ over years.

I'm doing it right now...Sachs oem clutch $265 install $200
get the clutch on ebay from seller venusparts. I am getting a great deal on labor so expect to pay more. Consider yourself lucky though, i have to rebuild my tranny and get a clutch.
