how much should an average timing belt job cost in labor?

Default how much should an average timing belt job cost in labor?

does 681$ with an APR snub, acc belt and acc belt tensioner sound right? TO me that sounds a lil ridiculous. THanx Josh

but I would have the thermostat and water pump done too at that price

Default im sorri, that is NOT including the parts... i bought all those seperate..

that is just for LABOR and an APR snub and ACC belt and tensioner... Josh

i believe the book time for a timing belt and water pump job is 8 hours.

clutch is close to that and induktion changed mine in like 3 hours.

Default yeah - have to agree - thought it included parts

Standard rate here though is 600-800 including parts.

Default yea well that shop just lost my business...

they didnt charge me how long it actually took them, they just charged me whatever the book time was. and they said that was 6 hours. saying they got it all done in 4 hours. Whatever.... last time ill b going back to them.. Josh
