this way they get an extra ECU too. No downtime, can yank chipped ecu and put reg back in if decide to sell car. Can sell their current ecu once buy yours. It gives them lots of options. I'd say 400 is the lowest it should go for.

Personally, if I were at the point where I was about to chip my car and I saw your chipped ECU vs. paying the same or more to have my ecu chipped (w/ exact same file etc..) and having downtime while ecu sent (unless flashed by shop) I would be more than happy to pay 500 for it.

agreed, $500 and maybe a little more if you have several slots
