How much will be change of clutch on 1.8T(part+labor)

Does the labor vary depending on what's done?
My inclination is that a new clutch is a new clutch...if you want a new flywheel too, that won't take any additional time...just the increased expense in parts. The reason I ask is because someone posted here last week saying their dealer quoted them $600 for a new clutch (parts and labor). I'm pretty sure it was quattro, and I always though quattro clutch jobs were 10 hours of labor PLUS parts! I can't understand how he could get a new clutch for $600???
