i got the xchip with a sparce ecu for just under 900. I really wanted the extra ecu in case of problems, and to change up when i go to the dealership. I can also sell it if/when i stage 3 my car.

Default I have an APR chip and a spare ECU. What would be the best option to convert?
I am thinking of upgrading to a K04 and my APR chip is not appropriate.

Default you could sell the chipped ecu and have the stock one coded for the k04..
