Well, we didn't really have a choice, too many cars, too few drivers. On older cars that start to accumlate value , it does effect them to have more miles or adverse useage. The risk of damage and or the car not making it, which especially if they have been in storage for lengthy periods of time is quite common. When the truck rolled up, he had a beautiful rotissorie restored Boss 429 in there in bubble wrap. It looked better then Ford had done when new!
We did drive one of the other cars across which was a long 5 days, but another great experience going across country.

ive heard horror stories about cars getting delivered with burned out clutches etc,,
either way i saw an audi transport last week and all the audis were covered in car covers with audi written all over it
