Default how often do you change transmission (manual) and differential fluid?

also, what do you use? was thinking of getting some royal purple trans fluid and 75w90 for diff.

Those two parts use different fluids. Don't be putting gear oil in the tranny.

Default I've changed my original trans fluid as soon as 7500mi. After you have what you want in, 60k.

I would do the trans 2x as often as the diffs. Consensus is Mobil 1 is fine for diffs. I think RP is good for trans, but RedLine is better mixed 50% MTF/MT90.

Default Castrol's oem trans fill product is Dual-Rated. RP is Dual-Rated GL-4&5, works in both.

Note this Syntec from Blau: "Transmission & Differential Fluid For Audi VW MANUAL TRANS".

Default Do them ASAP...IMO

I'm assuming the cause of my transmission failing was because there was no fluid in it for whatever reason. Maybe the dealer drained it out or something? lol

Default I guess I'm old skule. I always do GL4 in the trans and GL5 in diffs.

I don't trust the multi-use stuff.
