Sounds a little excessive
most people start noticing a difference in shifting around 70-100k.

Actually, according to the maintenance schedule its every 45k miles/72 km.

I thought tip didn't have an interval for changing? Only the old 4 speed non-tip Audis.
I had a 93 100q with a slushbox. Interval was 45K on that one. Dealer only had one guy who even knew how to service the trans.
