How to pop out the factory stereo on '01 A4??
Just curious as how to take out the stereo so I can wire my amp and other extras from the back of my stereo. Any info would be great. Thanx...Oh-the stereo is a symphony, not Bose.

There are four slots on the radio...
2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. The easiest way to get it out is to stick the removal keys in there, but you can try using nail files. BTW there is no separate Bose stereo. Regular and Bose both use the Symphony headunit.

It sounds fine. Have them install a high-to-low level signal adapter.........
to run the amp.
That's what I did. Kept the stock head unit, had the adapter, 4 speakers, a sub, and a 5-channel amp installed. Sounds amazing and looks completely stock. Totally stealth.
