How is the side door trim removed/attached? Not the lower door trim...

Default How is the side door trim removed/attached? Not the lower door trim...

Cant find any related articles for the side door trim, i have a gap on one of the trim pieces I want to pull off and reattach.

Its some type of two sided tape. The trim itself has pins that jet out every couple inches that help to line it up when attaching. Use a heat gun or hair dryer with a putty knife to get it off. Use the heat and goo gun to remove the tape on the trim. lay down some new tape and make sure the depth will work then reattach. Trim will line up with the holes in the door so you shouldn't have to worry about alignment.

what kind of tape is used for the trim? I think the current tape is too thick and leaves a gap at the edges...
