How is TAP intake in terms of sound? compared with lltek?

Everyone here will tell you it doesn't make any power. probably true, can't tell the difference.
But I had to put a bigger cone (TAP one was minuscule), and I added a heat shield so it wouldn't suck in as much hot air.
Get the cheapest (in price) intake you can find, if you want it for the sound..

I installed an lltek intake a in October. It ran great all winter, sounded very nice. I removed it, though as soon as the temp hit 80 in April in NYC.
The car was breathing HOT air - not good for the turbo. Unless you have a true cold air system, one that gets air from the outside of the car , NOT the air in the engine bay, the intake you are considering is worthless.
Of course, if you instsis on buying one, you can buy mine cheep.
