Default How to tell if seats are leather or leatherette

How do I tell if my seats are leather or the leatherette matieral? It is a 2001 with the sport package. I was thinking of using armor all on them, is this a bad idea?

Default what motor? 1.8T can only have leatherette or cloth like seating

If you have a 1.8T it's leatherette

If you have a 2.8, check if the seats are preforated...if they are, leatherette.

Using Armor All is a bad idea, regardless.
