How to transfer fog lights

I have a 98 B5 and can confirm that the fog lights are integrated into the 2-piece headlight assembly.
Been interested in moving the fogs to the grills or adding more lighting (preferable) as the entire lighting system output is really weak.
Maybe I'll just suck it up and get some 2-piece or 1-piece DEPO-brand HID replacement lights/housings for $200-300.

OK go on line and get a owners manual they are free. Then look it up. I am not a liar and do not like being told I am. My Mercedes also has the exact same setup. This is not giving me very much hope in that this forum knows what it is talking about as well as its sponsors. I will go somewhere else as I guess this is more of a my opinion rules even if I am totally wrong type of web site. To bad the Mercedes, BMW and Porsche forums are so friendly. Thanks guys!

I was never calling you a liar. I was simply saying I'm not too familair with the 2 piece style headlights and I was inquiring more information so I could better help you...
