How would I install a Milltek exhaust (2.5") replacing my existing custom 2.5" exhaust?

Normally the exhaust comes with a reducer to you just clamp one end onto the milltek and the other end onto the existing piping.
But I have a custom exhaust that's 2.5" downpipe back. So I think I will be using my old 2.5" flex pipe and some 2.5" piping. Is there a way to join the Milltek exhaust to this using a clamp or will I need to get it welded?
Thanks

resonator, and the tips (if you like them)
The muffler/resonator is Magnaflow (which is what everyone with a custom exhaust gets) and the tips are Thermal R&D. All pieces are stainless.
Drop me an email if you're interested: agarwal@stanford.edu
