Howling noise when decelerating or driving around 25mph after changing wheels/tires
I put new wheels and tires yesterday - there is NO rubbing but I noticed some kind of howling noise when driving around 25mph and even more when decelerating...
It only started to happen after putting on the new wheels and tires - I've got 2mm left of rear brake pads...
I guess it could be either of these:
1) Noisy tires (new Bridgestone Potenza RE730 - 245/40/17) - I got oem sport and it does NOT rub
2) wheel bearings (I doubt since never heard before changing the wheels/tires)
3) Brake pads (doubt also)
I used the OEM wheel bolts
Thanks in advance for any feedback/advice on helping identiying this...

Guess not - I used the stock OEM ones with the new wheels - maybe grinding is not the right word
but a good point - It does not do it if I drive slowly (< 15-25mph)...or much faster (55 mph) - it does sound like a tire noise though...Could it be the tires? am searching for comments from people who had them...
Thanks
Thanks

Not sure about the tires. I put in wheel bolts that were too long and I also got a grinding sound.
But the sound was at all speeds, especially low speed. It could just be the tires though.

Something I forgot to mention - I changed the whole suspension last week-end but...
...did not get an alignment done yet...
Since I got new suspension, new wheels and tires - Could it be that the (rubbing/howling) noise is due to the car being misaligned?
I need to get an alignment done anyway I guess
I also heard that the Bridgestone RE730 are very noisy tires...
Thanks.
