Re: parties in Chicago - I went to one, and it was a bunch of cracked out candy kids.
I think I'll stick to Clubs here. Or at least parties in clube where it's 21 plus, although I don't know if they have those here.
I really miss old Toronto, where parties = 19+ (drinking age in Ontario is 19) and are true parties, with the promoters having full reign over setup, sound, etc.

I am going to a Party New Years Eve @ Limelight in NYC. LTJ Bukem and Nookie are spinning it should be a good time.
I hear ya about parties. Maybe we are just getting older. I am picky about where i go too.
There are still good parites out there but it takes more effort to find them.
