Default why did you put the rotors on w/ the slots oriented that way?

before people flame... mine are on the same way. But... I've noticed all Stoptech slotted kits have the slots sweeping the other direction. I have new rotors going on this weekend and am just trying to figure out if it matters...

IMHO Red Box are worse than stock. HP+ stop FAST, but wear rotors and are loud.

Default Orientation of the rotor only matters if the vanes of the rotor are directional

My rotors have straight vanes, so the direction of the slots is completely irrelevent. I got this answer quite frequently as I 'searched' this issue.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1538879.phtml

The slots on StopTech AeroRotors are cut in the OPPOSITE direction of the vanes.

StopTech rotor direction

Default HPS are pretty decent. Squealed for a while, it's mostly gone now...

...after 1k miles. Less initial grip, but more linear, (than stock) is how I'd describe 'em. I like.

Default Uprgade questions

I was thinking of this upgrade, but couldn't find some of this info:

Where did you get the brackets from? From what I understand, you need a completely custom bracket??? Is there a way to modify an existing one to get it to work?
If you have to purchase custom ones, where can you get them from?

What SS lines did you use?

Is the stock master cylinder large enough to handle the brakes? Is there any OEM M/C that is larger that fits right into booster + the lines match up?

Is there anything else that needs to be changes or addressed?
TIA!!!

Default so how did you fit the porsche calipers onto liam's brackets?

i was told you need totally different brackets for the porsche calipers.

are you saying you used liam's brackets with different sized bolts?
