I am looking for Vortrag Motorsports!! Help!!!!
I chipped my A4. However, now, I want to sell the car and want to take it off.
I am in Detroit Area. I do not know where i could find this company to take it off for me? Or anybody know where i could do it?

well...the part number depends on the model year...
for my 1999.5 it is 8DO 907 557 P...the actual part is located to the right of the battery underneath the weathersheild. Read up on the FAQs on this site.

Do you have the original ECU?...or do you have a chip that's been soldered into your original ECU?
I'm located in Detroit.....if you do have the stock ECU, then I can help you to "swap" the ECUs.
If you have the chip soldered into your original ECU, then I want to know which brand it is.....APR, or Garrett....that's what Vortrag used to sell.....
If it is soldered, then I would not be able to help you out....and I would suggest that you send in the ECU to the manufacturer of the chip upgrade for removal. Or call TDL racing located in Detroit, MI
If you don't want to do this, I would put the ECU for sale in the classifieds, and then buy an OEM non-chipped ECU out of the Audiworld classifieds. Or simply trade it out with someone......
Lots of ways to do it.....

can you give me your phone number?
I think it is a big brand. I do not remembered. It is in my car already. I still have the one from Audi with me. I want to put the audi one back to the car and take off the chip out.

Do you have TDL racing company in Detroit area?
I got the chip from Vortrage. The brand , uhm. I really do not remember. How do I know it? I am in a hurry> I am going to sell this car in five days. That's why I need to find out a person who could help me out and I would appreciate it.
