Default i can't figure this out... my engine is flooding like nuts!

problem is fairly simple to describe...
If i put my foot to the floor i get throttle cut/surging... if i ease into it the car moves along fine ^^unchipped mode

if i put the car in chipped mode... i smell tons of gas exiting the exhaust pipe and the car runs like ****.

If i leave the car idling for more then 4-5 minutes the exhaust pipe lets out thick thick thick smoke... if i give it a bit of gas it goes away.

So ultimately this means there is a fueling issue... but what?
I have a new fuel filter... new injectors... new fuel pump relay.. new maf... new ecu...

I just got the car back from audi... after a hefty bill the problem with the grounding seems to still be there...

so all said and done I don't know wtf is up... im going to go scan the car again and see if i clear the codes.. if any of this will go away.

any ideas?

Oxygen sensor, fuel pump, and EVAP are my guesses.

This is after they replaced your fuel pump relay which they thought was the cause of these faults?

Default I suspect the short to ground issues are causing the oxygen sensor and MAF problems

Which could explain the incorrect A/F ratio.

I'd take a fine-toothed comb through the wiring harness, might have a pinched wire('s) somewhere.

Default Same **** that happened to me last year!!!! WAS NOT THE FUEL PUMP RELAY!!!-->

Check the wires going to the passenger side of the car, that's where all those components lead. Something shorted out and melted the wires in that part of the harness. I had to re-wire 5-6 items to make the car run right again. Runs like a top now though.

Default I agree. Sounds to me like he needs to go through the harness with a dog flea/tick comb. ;)

I think there is something that got pinched/kinked. Either that or a bad ECU. (not likely but I would certainly NOT rule it out)

Mandeep: Have you tried or can you try a different ECU? That would be a quick easy thing to try to at least rule it out.

Agree, the items are in the harness there and could have been hit/pinched with the motor instal.
