...and the area around the filter. It appears that I may be leaking coolant. Any ideas how to fix this? New hose/new clamp??? Common?

Default New clamps on the coolant lines.

This unfortunately requires a fluid flush. Makes a big mess at the same time.

Yup, replace the two clamps on the coolant hoses in the oil cooler just above the filter. The clamps loose their springiness over time and begin to leak. It's a bit of a pain to get them off, but it can be done. Just take the 3 screws holding the coolant expansion tank off so you can move it out of the way to make room for your hands to get down there.

Cheers,

Well, it doesn't require a flush, but you'll need to add G12 + distilled water to replace the coolant that leaks out when you pop off the hoses.
