I don't have the proper H7 adaptor so does anyone know the proper orientation of a xenon bulb?

Default I don't have the proper H7 adaptor so does anyone know the proper orientation of a xenon bulb?
should that metal filament that runs parallel to the glass bulb (on the outside of the bulb) be oriented on the top or the bottom of the bulb when it is installed?
