what if you thought that there was a chance that you might get out alive? Would you give that up just to die on your own terms? I don't know what I'd do.
I have a pretty comfortable, unthreatened lifestyle. You probably do, too, or you wouldn't be interested in this website.
I just don't know what I'd have done. I'm working on my 2nd degree black belt...I think I can handle myself with most people (I'm a math teacher, not Chuck Norris). What if I tried to do something and someone else got killed as a result of my actions? What if I ended up having to live with that? I don't know if I could do that. I came to a different level of feeling toward human life when my first daughter was born.

yea, i don't get it either. but i'm guessing they probably killed a flight attendant to.... (more)
...make an example and scare people. Once you see blood gushing from someone, I doubt you'd fight back.
Besides, most hijacking end up going to some rogue place ... but with a happy ending (meaning everybody's alive)...
