Default I either snapped this bolt, stripped its threads, or stripped the threads to

where the bolt goes in to place. Anybody have the size of the bolt, i would like to go to the store and pick some up and rethread if i have to.

It is the 2 small bolts...

I have heard some people say it doesnt hold weight, but when i had to lower my subframe to do my CA, and reinstalled the bolts, it sure as hell felt like the gearbox got a bit more sloppy. Nothing drastic, but something noticable.

Default Bah, you get them replaced?

Was it the bolts that were stripped or did you strip the threaded hole?

Default it was the hole. I guess someone had to take them out before me

and stripped them out. When I took the bolts out it looked like the remains of a helicoil on the bolt threads. I had a local shop dril them out and rethread them for me. Cost me $50 :/ if I knew that I would have bought a tap and dye(die?) set

Default I see, i should be able to do it with out much of problem.

I was just trying to find out what i am getting myself into.

I figured i would have to tap it out and rethread. I had to do that to my fvcking turbo....
