Default I get the feel of warped front rotors after only 1,000 miles babying brakes...

What could be causing this other than crap rotors?

Could it just be that something else is wrong?

I did the A8rotor/TT bracket upgrade, put in new rotors and pads.

Default Go drive the car really hard...to the point the brakes start to fade and smoke.

Seriously. It's probably just pad deposits. What kind of pads did you use?
Typically brakes squeal, etc. because they're not being pushed hard enough.

Default What pads are you using? Methinks the answer is in your subject line...

...and Pat has it right.

Default Well, maybe not quite that much! Try several hard stops from 40-50 without completely stopping.

And by "hard" we mean threshold braking - almost into the ABS mode but not quite.

Default Braked real hard for long. Drowe down a mountain pass till brakes got real hot. No difference...

About 15 slow-downs from 80/90mph to 25/30mph (sharper bends).

Pedal transmits same wobbly feel even when coming to a halt in 1st gear. Might it be that the guys at the shop did not fully polish the wheel hubs before new rotor install?
